In my years of planning beautiful weddings and events, I have learned so much from some very creative brides and vendors and I would like to pass some of this on to you. If you are thinking about getting married in this beautiful and magical place called Sedona, I think you will enjoy some of my couples’ stories and beautiful photos. I am also excited to share wedding trends, new finds, and fabulous vendors. Sedona Vineyard Wedding
Valerie and Ryan were married at the beautiful Page Springs Cellars Vineyard in October. The couple, wine club members and lovers of great food were excited to have their wedding at the vineyard. The planning process was interrupted when Ryan’s work took him across the country. Valerie then had to concentrate on wrapping up her job in Arizona, pack up and move to North Carolina pick up the planning again in order to get back to Arizona for the wedding. The wedding day was perfect. Guests were transported to the vineyard for the ceremony by the creek. Family and close friends enjoyed a sunny afternoon with great food catered by the Heartline Café and carefully paired wines from the winery. Courtney Yeates and Lindsay Katz -Cellist/vocalist and guitarist provided music. Bliss Floral created beautiful arrangements in brilliant fall colors. Iffy Yossifor captured the day and event planner Margaret Van Damme coordinated the day.

I am so excited to show the slide show images from the 40’s inspired vineyard wedding that we recently did at Page Springs Cellars. With a team of very talented vendors I created a wedding to promote and generate more interest in Vineyard Weddings for our destination brides as well as our local brides. The images were captured by Katrina Wallace of Sedona Bride; Floral arrangements by Bliss Extraordinary Floral; Video production by Taltos Productions; Hair and Make-Up by Patricia Vega and Event Design by Van Damme Weddings. Our models John and Cori were great fun and even got in the creek for a “trash the dress session”.
Vineyard Weddings in Sedona
There is something perfectly romantic about a vineyard wedding — and not just in the Napa Valley.
The Wall Street Journal recently applauded Sedona and the adjacent Verde Valley as an emerging vineyard hotspot, vying for Napa-like status. The vineyards in this North-Central Arizona oasis, as well as those in Southern Arizona, are rapidly earning a worldwide reputation.
According to the Arizona Wine Growers Association, climate and soil studies have revealed that the Southern region is similar to Ribera Del Duero in Spain, Southeastern Australia, and Southern France. It is almost identical to that of Paso Robles, California.
Van Damme Weddings was recently at Sedona’s Page Springs Cellars doing a wedding shoot to promote and generate more interest in Vineyard Weddings for our destination brides as well as our local brides. Why go to Napa for your wedding when you can stay right here in Arizona?
