It doesn’t get any prettier than the Sedona wedding of Scott and Casey. It was the perfect combination of rustic, romantic and total elegance.
From their photographer Katrina Wallace: “There are days in Sedona where the light is so amazing and we wish there was a wedding; when the sky goes dark and the sun peaks through and creates especially gorgeous dramatic light. Casey and Scott had just that”
The drop dead gorgeous bride was stunning in her Martina Liana Vintage-inspired corded lace gown and custom-made cathedral veil. Shoes by Jimmy Choo. Her bridesmaids were beautiful in soft pistachio colored chiffon- each styled differently. The groom and his men were all dashing in modern Vera Wang grey suits.
The floral created by Bliss Extraordinary Floral was lush, soft and romantic.
Long bare wood feasting tables were filled with an abundance of lush floral in birch containers, Spanish dried moss, vintage ribbed glass mason jars, lanterns and lots of candlelight. Tiny Potted Succulents, hand wrapped in butcher paper tied with a cord and tagged with guest names served as escort cards and favors.
Casey carefully included so many personal and heartfelt details to her wedding. A brooch that belonged to her Nanny was on her bouquet. Also special to Casey was her wedding band that was handed down to her by her paternal grandmother, her Grammy. Casey’s mom did the hand painted Mr. and Mrs. Signs. All the small touches that make a wedding a memorable affair were in this Sedona wedding filled with love, family and friends. The talented team of Katrina Wallace and Andrew Mejia of Sedona Bride beautifully captures this love story here.
Casey and Scott’s love story in the brides own words:
“No one knows exactly how it happens, no one knows exactly why its true but some people are just meant to find each other and someday, somewhere and somehow they always do. Scott and I met on match.com. I had just moved to Boise, Idaho from Fort Myers, Florida for a job opportunity and most importantly to be near my family. I work in the medical field and have crazy hours, so living in a new town and meeting people became a challenge. Scott living over 1,000 miles away in Scottsdale Arizona, also worked crazy hours and was having no luck meeting that special someone. Scott then broadened his search and that is how we met. I was only on match.com for one day; if that is not fate we don’t know what is. I never thought I would meet my future husband online, but sometimes you have to do something you have never done to have something you never had. I knew Scott would forever be my always. (I have that engraved on the inside of his wedding ring. “You will forever be my always.”) Scott proposed on our one-year anniversary on a private jeep tour on the top of Merry Go Round Rock in Sedona. Sedona has always been a special place for us and that is why we chose to get married there”

Heather and Eric were married on a perfect summer day at Amara Resort and Spa. When I first starting working with Heather she described her wedding day vision as being low-key, modern, subtle and elegant. And it was just that!
Heather and Eric are fun loving and seemed to enjoy every moment of their wedding day. Beginning with their first look to the heart filled ceremony and their seriously fun filled reception it was non-stop smiles. Dueling Pianos kept the guests dancing and entertained.
Heather chose turquoise, yellow, cream with a spatter of greens for her colors. She was a stunning bride and knows how to accessorize. Bright turquoise heels and turquoise bangles set the pop of color to her beautiful gown. She wore her mother in laws chapel length veil for the ceremony.
Sedona Bride captured the day with these beautiful images, always flawless, always with an eye for that unexpected moment. Wedding Planning by Margaret Van Damme, lighting and floral by Events by Showstoppers, hair and make up by Patricia Vega of Le Petit Spa de Sedona and April Bates of Amara as always on top of all the resort details rounded out this team of vendors. Ceremony music was provided by friends of the couple Ryan and Betsy Uttech
This sweet wedding celebrated the joining of Randy and Heidi as man and wife as well as celebrating the joining of two families. Between them, they have six beautiful children. The bride’s three daughters and the grooms two sons and a daughter all attended their parents in the wedding ceremony. The family chose a sand ceremony to reflect the blending of their two families into one new family. The love of family could be seen and felt in all the details of this intimate wedding.
The couple, busy medical professionals living in Idaho chose, sight unseen, L’Auberge de Sedona as their destination venue. It was the perfect gathering place for family and close friends to surround and celebrate the couple’s love for each other and the love of their family. Dinner was held on the patio by the creek-followed by dancing. Andrew Holman captured the day in these beautiful images.
The couple was off for Bali on a honeymoon vacation.

Thank you Melissa and Kristen from Tangled Lilac and Alison of The Wedding Yentas for the beautiful feature.
There is something romantic about the idea of running away, just the two of you, to some exciting location, exchanging vows near a creek, a mountaintop or a favorite city.
Allison and Brandon, did just that by eloping to the breathtaking Red Rocks of Sedona.
Allison’s vision was to be married in a late afternoon ceremony outdoors, high in the Red Rocks. Avid hikers, and mountain bikers, Allison and Brandon wanted a casual, relaxed and happy wedding. They envisioned an outdoor dinner under the stars with elegant food and fine wines. Great photos were also high on their list.
Allison took her inspiration from the charm of the bohemian era. Her Free People dress was a strapless pheasant dress with a tiered skirt accented in vintage inspired embroidery. The groom wore a Mexican Wedding Shirt and light kaki trousers. They returned to fine dining and excellent wines on the banks of Oak Creek at the L’Auberge de Sedona Resort.
In keeping with Allison’s theme Margaret Van Damme designed a table of vintage bottles filled with wildflowers, a centerpiece set in vintage milk glass and lots of candlelight. Peacock Flower Co. provided the table floral and beautiful bridal bouquet.
The Event Essentials created place cards and signage for the wedding chairs, which gave the small wedding of six a special and personal touch. Beautiful family crystal champagne flutes in which to toast were brought from home.
Allison and Brandon had a beautiful, unforgettable, planned elopement in a setting that was perfect for two or two hundred.
This wedding had all the elements of gorgeousness; crazy beautiful bride, handsome groom, stunning bridal party and the most precious flower girls. Roseanne and Dave were married at the L’Auberge de Sedona resort outdoors under a birch arbor surrounded by family and friends. Cocktails and reception followed under the stars on the banks of Oak Creek. The wedding was Elegant and timeless in tones of Ivory, blush, dusty pink and platinum.

This is one wedding that was perfection in its beauty, ease, and super fun loving couple.
Julie and Patrick were married at the beautiful L’Auberge de Sedona Resort last October. While attending the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona the couple had made several trips to Sedona to hike and fell in love with the beauty of Sedona. Julie and Patrick wanted their travel themed wedding to be unique, comfortable and fun, which it was. It would be the first time Patrick’s friends and family from Germany would be meeting Julie’s friends and family from the States. They also wanted to include their beloved miniature schnauzer, Winston in the ceremony. Winston dressed in a tux acted as ring bearer.
The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown and her bridal party beautiful rich cranberry gowns. Guests enjoyed fabulous food and wine and danced the night away.

Heather and David, San Francisco Bay area residents celebrated their wedding at Sedona Golf Resort this fall. After nine years together, David proposed to Heather at the top of Bear Mountain last year.
Although rain threatened the day, the weather held with enough cloud cover for a beautiful day and lovely images captured by Katrina Wallace and Andrew Mejia of Sedona Bride. Family and friends gathered for a ceremony on the green with Bell Rock as their backdrop. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the patio followed by dinner and dancing.
Heather worked with Margaret of Van Damme Weddings on a classic, elegant décor with Sedona Red Rock feeling. The bride and groom, avid hikers used Sedona trail hikes as their table names. Showstoppers created table floral arrangements in rich fall colors. The beautiful dessert bar co-designed by Van Damme Weddings and Sedona Cake Contour was a taste treat guests enjoyed during the evening. Congratulations Heather and David!

Valerie and Ryan were married at the beautiful Page Springs Cellars Vineyard in October. The couple, wine club members and lovers of great food were excited to have their wedding at the vineyard. The planning process was interrupted when Ryan’s work took him across the country. Valerie then had to concentrate on wrapping up her job in Arizona, pack up and move to North Carolina pick up the planning again in order to get back to Arizona for the wedding. The wedding day was perfect. Guests were transported to the vineyard for the ceremony by the creek. Family and close friends enjoyed a sunny afternoon with great food catered by the Heartline Café and carefully paired wines from the winery. Courtney Yeates and Lindsay Katz -Cellist/vocalist and guitarist provided music. Bliss Floral created beautiful arrangements in brilliant fall colors. Iffy Yossifor captured the day and event planner Margaret Van Damme coordinated the day.
Justine Miller captured the beautiful September wedding of Teaunee and Fran. The couple was married in the courtyard of the Heartline Café with Margaret Van Damme officiating. It was a small intimate wedding with close friends and family. The couple’s dog Savannah acted as ring bearer. The couple released butterflies in memory of Teaunee’s mother. It was a heartfelt moment. Love was in the air.
