Wood Wedding Invitation Suite
I recently had the pleasure to work with Shirlene, owner with her husband, Matthew of Wood Chick Studios. I was looking for a unique “woodsy” invitation suite to use on a table design for the Sedona Wedding Studio’s bridal boot camp event.
Etsy artists Shirlene and Matthew really caught my eye. They are a small boutique design studio dedicated to printing on real wood. Their wood invitations are beautiful, eco-friendly and affordable. The designs compliment a rustic, vintage or modern wedding theme. They have some beautiful designs or will customize for you.
Here are the photos of the table design I created for L’Auberge de Sedona.
Save The Date Engraved Wood Wedding Announcements
These are a unique alternative to paper goods. RobertoSand at Bullfrog Laserworks custom makes these beautiful engraved wood wedding invitations, wedding favor tags, table numbers and much more. Personalized and made to order, these are great for an outdoor, rustic, vintage wedding. They would be perfect for a Sedona wedding at one of our beautiful venues.Check out the work of Roberto on his Etsy site
Sedona-Letterpress Shoot
Here are a few photographs of the vintage tabletop we designed last month. The Aerialist Press created the beautiful letterpress invitation suite for us. Katrina Wallace of Sedona Bride photographed at Tlaquepaque. The awesome cake was the work of Andrea at Sedona Cake Couture. Cute fun and casual, Van Damme Weddings can do something equally awesome for your wedding.
Beautiful Letterpress Wedding Invitations
The Aerialist Press created this beautiful letterpress wedding invitation suite for me to use in a vintage tabletop design. I am so thrilled with the work of Alexandra and Craig. For all you brides that are looking for the richness and beauty of letterpress invitations at an affordable price, visit their web site. You will be surprised and delighted.
Calligraphy from Primele
I love calligraphy and especially taken by the work of Patricia of Primele. Primele is the studio of three sisters in upstate New York. I love the many uses of calligraphy in these photos. Via:the Sweetest Occassion
Paisley Quill-True Love of Design
I was so thrilled and surprised to receive in the mail a gorgeous presentation of invitation samples from Molly Myers at Paisley Quill.
I have followed the Paisley Quill blog for some time and love their sense of beautiful design.
Having the invitation suites in my hands was heaven for a design and paper lover like me. It is hard to imagine unless you see and feel them how wonderful they truly are.
Choose from custom wedding suites or from Paisley’s ink well collection of ready made invitations. You will love the luxury and quality of these invitations.
My favorites below are from a Hindu/Christian Wedding. The collection is elaborate in detail and embedded with tiny red and gold jewels. See more about the details here.
Lovely Letterpress-Lovely Price
I recently received these samples from Ajalon Printing and Design. They are a small, family-owned letterpress printer in Northern California. I loved their letterpress invitations and was especially excited about the reasonable prices. They have a special offer of 100 letterpress invitations and enclosure cards for only $398. Please visit their site and gallery. If you are serious about beautiful letter press invitations for your wedding or event at a great price, contact them for samples.
Beautiful Letterpress Invitations on a Budget
I have always loved beautiful paper and have bought and collected handmade papers for many years. So I was really happy when I was contacted by Craig and Alexandra of Aerialist Press. Their business was started with their love of paper and design and finding it difficult to find a letterpress suite for their own wedding at an affordable price. They bought their own press and designed and printed an invitation suite for their wedding. They loved the process so much they decided to offer their service to brides with an eye for detail, design and beautiful paper at a price they can afford. I think you will love their work as much as I do. Visit their website and blog and you will get a sense of this delightful couple, who they are and the beautiful invitation suites they create.
I love the map below that Alexandra and Craig created for their guests, marking their favorite wineries and vineyards with wine bottles.

Wedding Invitation
Now here is a clever and unusual invitation for that “retro” look From Lovely Package
“Wedding invitation in a tin can which after the ceremony is attached at the back of the newly married couples car. It is accustomed, after the wedding ceremony, for friends and relatives of the couple to bang saucepans and bells in order to make noise and send away jealous spirits.”
